Combine 1/2 cup water, 1 tablespoon soy sauce,
1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch, and 1 teaspoon instance
chicken bouillion granules, set aside.
Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a 10 inch skillet. Add
2 tablespoons slivered almonds, stir fry 2 minutes or
till lightly browned. Add one 6 ounce package
frozen pea pods; stir fry 2 minutes more. Stir in one
4 ounce can sliced mushrooms, drained. Stir cornstarch
mixture, add to pea pods in skillet. Cook and stir till
thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes
more. Serves 3 or 4.
