Hey, Gloria - it was great! Rob would have eaten more and I refused to
let him. I'll slice the rest thinly and do something with it - maybe on
a salad, maybe cold out of hand. :-/ I don't know that all would like
it - it was rather sweet due to a heavy hand with the brown sugar that
my recipe has. The brown rice was nice with it, and a tossed-type green
salad.

Terrific! There's nothing better than an experiment that succeeds.
Our chuck pot roast was good but a bit overdone. (Do you remember
what it's like when engineers forget to come home on time for dinner?)

I get all the leftovers tonight since Neil is in MA to meet with
potential customers.

Never had the problem. He's too organized and self controlled. (*;*)

We had the rest of it tonight - sliced thinly and barely hottened in a
hot skillet. Hash browns (red potatoes, skin on, blanched first), egg;
and sauteed mushrooms for me. Pretty good.

I love reheated roasted potatoes smashed and then with some gravy on top.
