I know this is a bit of a "joke post" (or something)... but a whole sheep (dead, skinned, gutted etc.) can be a very good option if you are having a big party... Have a friend who owns his own butchery - so we ordered a whole sheep for my son's 21st party from him. Was wonderful. We hired a "spit" and cooked it long and slow, basting often. Good stuff. Years ago I ordered a whole roast lamb for a big party. It was from an Arabic place roasted and stuffed with rice and garlic. Fabulous memory. |
