From the Food Network web site:
http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/show..._38717,00.html Moroccan In this episode, Sandra Lee makes even the most challenging Moroccan dishes seem simple - and they are mouth-wateringly delicious. Dishes include Lemon and Mint Roasted Lamb, Moroccan Carrot Salad, Saffron Cous Cous with Goat Cheese, Spiced Cake with Almonds and Caramelized Oranges, and a fabulous Moroccan Mint Tea Cocktail. Bottled lemon pepper dressing over a leg of lamb? Instant couscous prepared with chicken broth & saffron and raisins, almonds, apricots, olives AND goat cheese? A TABLESPOON of cinnamon in the cake frosting and a Teaspoon of extract and a tablespoon in the oranges too? Won't it taste like a giant red hot? A carrot salad with cayenne, cumin, cilantro, more paprika (that's Hungarian!) and...honey? "Mouth-wateringly delicious" is the last thing I am thinking here... Hold onto your hats, folks! She uses almonds in a couple of these recipes -- did you all know that they are full of antioxidants and are really healthful? Prediction: Slop will attempt a harem/tent theme for her *scape: "Entertain your guests with your own SemiHomade ™ rendition of the "pixie stix scarf dance!". -- "Bunny's ability to take ingredients that I love and put them together into something stomach wrenching is unparalleled." -- bookwirm |

This episode wasn't quite the train wreck it could have been. It was actually
pretty dull. The only thing completely vomit-inducing was the kocktail, although the couscous certainly had a lot of clashing favors going on. I doubt the Almond Council approves of Bunny dumping the half pound of almonds that failed to adhere to the cake into the trash.
