Default Noix Noires - La Table d'Eugenie

I just bought what I suspect is some kind of nuts in liqueur
and is used for crepes. There is essentially nothing on the
net explaining how to use it, but it is not real hard to find
in shops here in Europe and rather expensive. Interesting, the
people selling it are not sure what it is or what people do
with it. I am curious if anyone here knows for certain how this
is typically served and if my crepe hypothesis is correct?

Label reads as follows:

Noix Noires
Jeunes noix a la liqueur
La Table d'Eugenie
24400 Sourzac
48 g ingredients 18% vol: Noix vertes sirop, sucre, eau citron

Any/all suggestions kindly welcomed....

Well, the nuts are black walnuts. I don't know about this product but it
sure seems to be good. I love Noix Noires Liqueur. I have one bottle that I
was given as a gift. I'd love to get some more as I really enjoyed it. Very
intense in flavor, but delectable.

Thanks Charles. This is not hard to find, although I have no
idea where you are. I am in Sweden, but have found it in San
Francisco, California. It seems to get around, so I think you
will have luck finding it.

Now, if we could just figure out what these French people are
doing with it. My suspicion remains that it is used for crepes,
There are a number of links in French that sell the stuff and
tell you how good it is, but I am still not clear on how it is
used in cooking, and in particular with crepes. Let us sit tight
and hope more people get into this post.....
