Default Caramel Apple ?

I melt the kraft-type caramels down with a little (2 Tb or so) water
over low heat. stick the sticks in the apples, dip 'em in the caramel,
and let them cool on sheets of waxed paper. yum!

How about caramelizing apple wedges? That would make it finger food and
lots more caramely?
