Default Update Those Filters!

This is the poster formerly known as Damsel. Every once in awhile, I
get tired of Damsel, especially when she's done something hurtful.

Patches, did you receive my apology?

Anyway, to those others who have me filtered, now's the time.

Heehee! Thanks, kili. I just know that almost everyone is killfiled
by someone. It's only polite to let people know.

I'm shocked and amazed to hear that and if I'm actually killfiled by
anyone, I want them to write me *immediately* and tell me why they did
it.

To be perfectly honest with you, hon, I can't imagine why anyone (in their
right mind, anyway) would killfile you. You're a lovely, intelligent, fun

Why in heavens name would anyone want to filter you? You're sweet,
funny, and while your taste in foods is not always the same as mine,
you're generous to a fault sharing what you have. Maybe some people

Here's a question: Does anybody here have what seems to be a "taste twin,"
i.e., someone whose tastes in food match so strongly as to be almost
uncanny?

I've noticed that my tastes very often coincide with Puester's (Gloria), so
I always pay special heed to her posts. But I don't think the converse is
true; I think I like some things which she doesn't like.

I haven't noticed anyone here yet that I would consider my taste twin
but maybe that is because whoever it could be hasn't expressed it the

Aw, thanks, Wayne. (smile) No, actually, my posts weren't getting
past my ISP for a week or so, so it appeared I was posting only no one
answered me. Now, sometimes that happens, no prob, but ... I even said
something pretty controversial, not a peep. Hmmm.

I asked, they fixed it, and suddenly everyone was ... where have you
been, you've been so quiet.

I accidentally killfiled Dee Dee, no idea how, I only killfile prolific
trolls.

Why in the world would anyone killfile you? Not me. I don't recall
you doing anything "hurtful". Anyway, you and Crash have certainly
been through enough for one couple, so I guess you'd have a right to
vent sometimes, but I don't recall you doing it. I'm just going to
have to pay more attention now, so I won't miss posts from the former
Damsel. <G>

I'm kinda concerned that I may already be irretrievably in that very
same rut. I've been DidD since 1997 on Usenet, and at least 12 years
total.

FTR - *I post only using supernews* nothing else ever. It would be a
good idea to read headers before attributing a quote to someone who
really didn't write the words. My headers always read ~patches~ email
addy going through supernews. I use a Mac
never a PC. I made mention of a certain person posting under different
aliases but was chided for that implication. I don't know if this is
the same person or someone else only that I have my filters pretty tight
at the moment and the OP of this did not get through so someone is
*pretending* to be me but it would be someone who is already in my
filters. Rather ****ing petty if you ask me! And I think it is pretty
****ing petty keep adding fuel to the fire. I wonder why so many are
so insistent on quoting he-who-can't-be-named when this jerk upsets so
many posters. I've taken a new approach to my filters so hopefully
won't see it or its supporters again. Oh and I don't filter just by name
or email addy either anymore. AFAIAConcerned this issue is dead and
over and should not be brought to light again. The revenge cooking
thread is looking a tad appealing at the moment and not just for prissy
girl! My last words on the subject & I would appreciate it if people
would just let the whole thing die. Really, please?

Now I'm back to cooking.
