I am only doing this because I promised, and the kind folks here on RCM
deserve to know. I will be going under the knife on Tuesday. The situation is a lot more serious than I had hoped it to be. Not to go into too many details; Apparantly one *can* *survive* after having one's entire stomach removed. On topic - Wonder what kind of food will be appropriate. Damned if I know hot that works but I have to believe my surgeon (who - BTW - is advertised to me as the best qualified in this procedure in Canada). That is (almost) the worst case scenario G). Chances of my outliving the actual operation are very good. After..........? If you look at my sig line at the bottom of this post you will see something that has been there for years - long before I ever imagined how personal it would become. Please check it out!
