Default Thanks Barb and Jen (Raw Apple Cake)

I gave this recipe to my Mum recently and we all ate it fresh cooked when we
went to visit today (minus the glaze). It was very yummy with ice-cream! My
mum is in her late seventies and was once a very capable cook and baker but
age has caught up and she is less inclined to do complicated cake recipes.
This one was perfect for her and I think we will get a few more cakes from
her before I will need to take over as the family cook. She plans to share
it with her older sister who still loves to cook. Looks like it will get
passed around our family. I can't wait to do it with the glaze.
Thanks to Barb for the recipe and to Jen who converted the measurements to
Aussie ones.

Liz (off to eat the last piece!)

You're welcome. Is her strength up for the heavy "batter"? Glad it's
been enjoyed in Oz.
