Default Cleaning out the freezer

I have a frozen stewing hen that has been in the bottom of my freezer
since May this year. I want to use it up before it's freezer burned.
If I make stock from it and them make the soup I want, is it safe to
refreeze the finished soup and or the extra stock for another use? I
will heed all the good advice on this ng for making a good stock. :-)
