Default Black & Decker Handy Steamer: how long for potatoes?

Hi -

do you do potatoes in your handy steamer? If so, for how long? There's no
listing for spuds in the list on the back . . . .

I found that they take forever ... I gave up after the 3rd or 4th try.

Bet that they may do ok sliced? :-)

I steam the old fashioned way using a pasta pot, or in the microwave.

I'm assuming this is some kind of device that steams food -- the
equivalent of a pot with boiling water and a steamer rack and a lid --
right? Then small white or red potatoes should cook in 20 to 30
minutes. Start checking them after 20 to see if they are tender.
