Maybe you can talk to some of us through the computer, using Yahoo or Google Talk or something. I'd enjoy that, although I don't have a microphone right now. My David speaks spanish and he tries to engage me in conversation at times. The problem is that I can SLOOOOWLY read spanish if I have to but I can't speak it. Within a few minutes the conversation has devolved to me responding to everything with "Si! En la cabeza!" -- ..:Heather:. www.velvet-c.com |

>2 years of spanish in a suburban minnesota high school have prepared me for nothing
I hear ya! I took 3 years of Spanish in school before my family and I moved to San Jose Costa Rica back in '79... I went armed with how to count, the months of the year, your basic body parts and oddly enough, the basic car parts. During our first dining out in a restaurant, when asked what I would like to order, I said, "yes, i'll have two tires, a nose and January" Kev |

Cheers Pando "mad" is most often used to mean angry but can also mean crazy. "eres loco" means, "you are crazy". Kev |
