The one I bought in Ikea was "Hapi" brand (a swedish brand).
And it isn't sweet. Here in Italy we don't use jam like a sauce to
accompaign meat dish. I have never eaten this kind of things before, but
when I tasted I liked them!
BTW, here in Piedmont they use to eat "Toma" (a piedmontese cheese) with
honey or fruit mustard.

Just like the things they serve in Ikea restaurant!

Yes, Ikea's in New Haven has a big modern restaurant in its store. For some
reason I like the style. It is spacious, airy, high ceilings and children
have a small play space if they choose. Their families sit close to that
space so you don't have the kids running back and forth between tables.
You see local families and some tourists, too, because the did offer a $.99
cent breakfast of scrambled eggs, 2 strips of bacon and fried potatoes; and
if you got there before 10 am, the coffee was free. If you got there after
10 am, the coffee was $.75, and good.

I found a wooden lazy susan that I keep on my table for $7. I had searched
for one for years. I also bought a bed skirt (blue stripe/French style) for
$10 -- whatta buy! I love their specials!

LOL! Have you read the whole thread from last night? Every time I
posted something, Heather changed the quote to something else. I
think she's on crack, but I can't prove it. Yet.

I read somewhere that you can put the output in a brown paper bag, light
it on fire, and put in on their doorstep. I'm not sure if this works.
I find a cream pie a little more effective

Does this generally happen while the nice men in the white
coats are leading you out to their truck for a pleasant little

Bad idea; there's no guarantee that the dog will place
his or her....errr...."output" where it will be the most
appreciated. It's a bit more work, but I think you'd really
find it worth your time to keep the dog in YOUR yard,
collect the items in question, and fling 'em over the fence.
This, of course, assumes that your aim is better than
your dogs....

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "effective." Would a balloon full of
hydrochloric acid be even MORE effective in your sense of the word?

Well, I would think the dog output would be cheaper and rather a tad
funnier as the intended neighbour tried to stomp out the fire, if my
humour were so inclined. OTOH, if my neighbour happened to be of the
shecky variety, I'd likely splurge for the HA. I wouldn't waste my
money on a balloon or my time waiting for a reaction Personally, I
think the avil method would be more effective for the sheckboy.

Should you choose this route, I would suggest a slight
modification in procedure - place on doorstep, and THEN
light. Otherwise, you run the risk of the paper bag in question
going up faster than anticipated, causing you to drop it
prematurely (and likely ruining the aforementioned "aim"
thing), and probably also causing you to yell out a single
word which would, ironically enough, be precisely correct
in terms of alerting the neighbors to what you were doing.

You are soooo funny. I believe you made another double entendre.

Quick definitions (double-entendre)

a.. (n.) A word or expression admitting of a double interpretation, one of
which is often obscure or indelicate.

(This definition is from the 1913 Webster's Dictionary and may be outdated.)

Dams,

I don't think he can see the lights out front as I'm sure that he's too
busy, in the back yard, viewing the special "puppy presents" that you just
threw over his fence.... LOL I mean, hey, you had to test his theory,
right? I can't imagine that he'd be upset either - you just sent over free
fertilizer. He can either use it for gardening/lawn care or for making
bombs... <snort> Sorry. It's Friday. Weird day... taking a 3-day weekend
since Tuesday is my 'birfday'. Woo-hoo. 37 - AGAIN.

Yes I have understood, it is similar in Italian. We say : "Doppio senso"!.
But nooo! My words were not "a doppio senso".

I bet you have them all over Europe (and Italy). Here are all different
kinds

Mine is similar to the third one on the page.
I also have one like the second one built into my corner kitchen cabinet,
which is a common.

the same.

Salt & Pepper
Cinnamon
4 different jars of Italian Honey.

Yeah, all the time, but I just pretend I'm not home, and
eventually they go away.

Seem to be nice folks otherwise, though...

Well, unless Heather has successfully completed species-reassignment
surgery, we would HOPE it was Heather's DOG'S poop.

On the other hand, I suppose there's no real need for Heather to
actually own a dog to be in possession of dog poop. You can
find just about anything on eBay these days...

That is one jolly picture.
DH and I both got a big kick out of it.
Definition of "big kick" - lots of fun and enjoyment immediately.
