![]() Suze finally bagged her hare last night with the .22 (she'd been after it for days). And it's been soaking in salt water since I can't get buttermilk around here; this afternoon I made up a marinade from Yoghurt, oil and gin and tried that instead. Now it's just gone in the oven. It will be interesting to find out which way this will go <g>. (Hoping for 'palatable'; this was probably a young doe rather than a stringy old buck like last time). -Peter -- ========================================= firstname dot lastname at gmail fullstop com |

What is your recipe? -- saerah "Peace is not an absence of war, it is a virtue, a state of mind, a disposition for benevolence, confidence, justice." -Baruch Spinoza "There is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened." -Douglas Adams |
