Alas, I found pecan pie recipes that use Colonial brand brown sugar, Karo corn syrup, Domino brown sugar, Pillsbury All Purpose flour, and Philadelphia cream cheese, but none that use evaporated or condensed milk. I have a book by that name...somewhere - I think its out in the garage in one of the 20 or so boxes marked "books" (haven't gone through those since we moved in) Anyway, there are 2 recipes that I use all the time out of there - a pot pie recipe from Veg-all (that one I know by heart) and the enchilada one - which I don't ![]() It's a recipe that has a white sauce - starts out cooking onions in butter - add flour, chicken broth....and then I don't remember it ![]() I would be SO excited if that recipe was in there. (There is more than one book that is titled similar so they may be different) If, by chance it is would you pretty please post it for me ![]() Roberta (in VA) |
