Tomato Chilli Chicken Recipe
Makes 2 servings in 45 minutes Chicken / Asian (Malaysia) / Main Dish / Gas or electric stove/ No marination -View Picture at : http://recipe.theskinnycook.com/toma...i-chicken.html - Not every day there is time to go and do shopping for fresh ingredients. For such a day we make sure that we have : - fresh onions, - something in the freezer, - canned ingredients - dry ingredients. A fast and easy recipe as simple as the above description... INGREDIENTS * 1/2 chicken, cleaned and cut in pieces * 1 onion, sliced * US 3.5 ounce (Australia 3,3ounce) (100gr) tomato puree (= 1 small tin can) * 1/2 cup water * salt to taste (1 teaspoon) * blend to a paste : - 1 small onion - 17 dried chillies - 1/2 tablespoon oil PREPARATION 1. Heat oil on medium fire. Put in sliced onion. Fry till fragrant. 2. Add chicken and chili paste. Fry for 5 minutes. 3. Add tomato puree water and salt. Stir till well mixed. 4. Put a lid on it and simmer until ready (30 minutes). 5.
