Sounds similar to what we'll be having tomorrow night: stuffed mushrooms, shrimp cocktail, king crab, fresh-baked bread with oil for dipping, Christmas cookies/treats, and lots of eggnog and wine. Christmas dinner will be grilled filet mignons; portabellos stuffed with a mixture of spinach, onion, bacon, cream, and parmesan, and topped with provolone; duchess potatoes; and a mixed green salad. Franciscan Cab to drink along with it. Peanut butter hot fudge crockpot cake with whipped cream for dessert. Dinner tonight will probably be takeout pizza... Happy Holidays! We're going with a White Burgundy with the crab, and I'll probably break out the oil and balsamic for the bread. Got a few cc's of the 50 year old stuff left that I've been hoarding. We're 60 degrees here (N. Florida) What part of the world are you in? Bubba -- You wanna measure or you wanna cook? |
