Cathyxyz, Thank you! May I add this, please?

For those of you celebrating Hanukkah, Happy Hanukkah for tomorrow.
Enjoy all the good Latkes.

For those of you who are not celebrating either, please have a good
holiday time with your families and loved ones and eat something
special for Christmas and something special for Hanukkah, a holiday
which lasts for eight days.

For all on rfc, Happy Holidays and a Happy, Peaceful New Year 2006.

Let's drink to that!!!!

Thanks for the reminder! I should make something vaguely resembling
Latkes out of our leftover mashed potatoes. I said vaguely. <G>

without using Hebrew letters, its not spelled "right" I prefer the
way you spell it, as it emphasises the guttural "ch" sound.

the first night of Chanukah is tomorrow night.

I do not have a hebrew font for this newsreader

A vaguely good idea is to add an egg to a couple of cups of leftover mashed
potatoes. Now, if you want, you may stir in minced onion and even garlic
and oh... chopped parsley. Form the mixture into pancakes (this is the the
latke-sorta-thingey) dusted lightly with flour and brown in butter. There!
Happy Hanukkah!
