In the pic you sent me, you looked at LEAST six feet! Crash used to be 6', but he's shrunken to 5'10" because of back injuries. Carol |

Well, thanks, but If I had been standing next to David, who is 6', our difference in height would be apparent. It's funny, I'm long waisted and David is long-legged. When we are both sitting, I look taller. <g> -- Wayne Boatwright *¿* __________________________________________________ ________________ And if we enter a room full of manure, may we believe in the pony. |

Funny you should mention that, I remember that about him now. Too bad. Anyway, about his height, you hear movie/tv actors get that a lot, you're much taller on the screen. nancy |

I don't know if that happened because of ego or if it was just what motion picture studio bosses did in those days of contracted actors. PS: Audie Murphy was 5'5" too. |

I saw this during the shooting of "Boy on a Dolphin" in Greece. Sometmes he wore lifts in his shoes, other times there was a raised walk for him and other times - in other films, the dug a trench for the others to walk in. Sophia Loren towered over him. A lot of Americans are in the background of one of the nightclub scenes, including me about 12 years of age. It is the same place where I saw my first belly dancers. Although most of the film was done in Greece, the underwater portion was done in Italy. jim |

About the only one of his co - stars he didn't have height "concerns" about was Veronica Lake, she was actually tinier than he was... -- Best Greg |
