Spatula: Ny;on or silicone?

What's the best type of spatula to use with a non-stick skillet?

I have what I believe is a nylon spatula from Calpalon, but stuff sticks to
it and is not always easy to get off.
Would I be better if with a silicone spatula?

Any recommended models/brands?

Silicone. I bought some very inexpensive ones at WalMart, both flat spatula
and spoonula styles, that are heat proof up to 450 degrees F. Nothing sticks
to them. Some of highest priced ones are heat proof up to 650-700 degrees,
but I think this is overkill for most home use.

Hardwood. I prefer beech, but I've another (home)made from acacia melanoxylon
as well. They're not too floppy, they're easy to clean and they work well.

The spatula you have is good and you can always use a cooking spray on
it before using it , that will help make cleanup easier for you.

Either one. I opt for what's cheapest.

I've got a Pyrex brand silicone spatula and love it do death. As a rule
things will still stick to it once you've used it a bunch of times and
run it through the dishwasher as many times.

But it's easy to clean, more so than the nylon stuff which EVERYTHING
sticks to even when new.

I got mine at Big Lots for a $1, too. The silicone spatulas don't curl
up on the ends like the nylon ones usually do.

Turns out what I was looking for seems to be called a "turner".
I found an Oneida Silicone Sold Turner at Kohl's.
Hard to find at www.pricegrabber.com.
Oneida does not even seem to list such utensils at www.oneida.com.
