This is not exactly cooking,,,,,but here goes. I like to make I own
popsicles with those plastic containers and the stick you insert . I fill
with juice`s. How the heck are you supposed to get the popsicle out of the
containers when they are frozen? I have tried just twisting them, or
running hot water on them etc. They come out with (enough) hot water, but by
then the popsicles are half melted and the stick falls out. Thanks

Might be the containers you are using.

Run COLD water over them instead of hot.

Wipe the interior of the molds lightly with vegetable oil, then wash
well and they will be non stick for at least a year... same treatment
with plastic ice cube trays.

COLD tap water.

Seriously.

When mom was dying, she tended to be too sick to eat much, but was
constantly thirsty due to the oxygen cannula.

I compromised and made her high protien popsickles.

I bought the molds and used Isopure fruit flavored liquid protein. It
got SOME nutrition down her and had the consistency of frozen pudding.
She loved them. :-)

'twas expensive but I did not care.

I ran cold tap water over the molds to release them. It does not melt as
much as hot water but since it's warmer than the 'sickles, it releases
them.
