You recommended that she (Carol) improve her computer security when
she reported via a proxy poster (Ophelia?) that her system was fubar
due to some badass hacking. This post is her (Carol's) response to
your suggestion. She appears to indicate that she had several
protection layers in effect at the time of the saboutage.

tee hee hee. Thanks, Modom! Like Jill, I read it and I said,"Whut???"

It's one thing when we translate English for a non-English speaker, but
it's a little embarrassing when someone has to translate English for me!

But I do appreciate it.

Elaine, too

Sorry, Steve, it was a one-time thing. Google dispersed my posts a
whole day late, and I didn't have anyone's e-mail addresses except for
those who had written to me since the Great Crash.

The Great Crash? Are you referring to your spousal unit? Just kidding.

~Elaine, too

No need to be embarrassed. One of the tech people at work sent me
mail the other day explaining that she had adjusted my Userid so that
it might not work with the multisomething or whatisserver. I wrote
back and asked her which ones they were, and her answer was also as
thick as mud. Techspeak is a language that no two people speak alike.
