Homemade Tortillas
Planning on having enchiladas Sunday. I have a tortilla press but also
have a brandy new, unused by human hands pasta roller that I got for Christmas. So.....I was wondering. Anyone ever try it? Biggest concern that I can see is the dough sticking. Always use wax paper with the tortilla press but doubt that'll work with the pasta roller. Input??? Thanks in advance. Bubba -- You wanna measure or you wanna cook? |

I simply spooned a bit of batter into the pan and then turned the crepe and turned it out onto waxed paper. It was simply a French 'tortilla'. Sorry, no idea about what you're looking for. Jill |

Give it a try if you like; dust the masa with a little flour before putting it through the pasta rollers. Remember that there isn't any wheat gluten in tortilla masa; won't behave like wheat flour dough. |
