Default Dinner Tonight thanks to Pandora's recipe

In all the heat of a summer's day with high humidity and 30degC, I
decided we needed a lovely dinner for the two of us. I sweated away in
the kitchen prepping all afternoon and then had the oven on!
Pandora had previously posted her Stuffed Zucchini recipe which sounded
delicious. With her photos as a guide here is my result. It tasted
sublime, light as light really, the little zucchini barrels using a mix
of pork and beef ground meat. I made the tomato sauce from scratch.
I can see this being presented time and again (in the cooler weather).
Dessert was a poached peach and almond tart (individual) with vanilla
ice cream.
Wine was a chilled Brown Brothers italian style red burgundy.

Not only do your recipes always look outstanding, but your presentation is
always lovely.

You're a psychic! I didn't have the bottle in front of me -- all
finished over dinner. Just beautiful.

You an aussie?

Default Dinner Tonight thanks to Pandora's recipe

Wayne! I must thank you for the Bronwyn post, because I couldn't see it!
I'Am so happy that B. have tried a recipe of mine! (Its the first time since
I Am here I can see a photo of a Pandora's recipe made from a member of this
group) ))
It came out very well, as I could see on the photo link.
And I like also carrots and little meatballs!
I would like to have the recipe of the potatoes which are on the left side
of the pictures. I Hope that Bronwyn can see this post.

Cheers and thank you

Default Dinner Tonight thanks to Pandora's recipe

Pandora,
Glad you liked my efforts! It was truly delicious. I pan fried the
little meatballs and popped them in the baking dish for the last half
hour. I didn't want to waste any leftover filling.
The potatoes were really a gratin rather than a galette. Layer thin
slices with unsalted butter, seasoning, chopped parsley and a little
cajun spice. I gave it a go in the microwave first and then into the
oven.

Thanks to Wayne for your comments!

Cheers
Bronwyn

Yes, and a beautiful job she did, but it was you who came up with the
recipe.

Thanks Chris. You can't eat quilts, but quilting is my second love
after cooking LOL
In one, the results are eaten and gone, and in the other, one's
endeavours endure!

I didn't see Pandora's recipe. Could you repost it please. Also a recipe
for the potato would be wonderful. People on this group are so clever!
