Default Sunday Company Menu - Thinking Out Loud

We are having a houseful of company on Sunday. The total number I need
to plan for is 20. The event will begin about 1 pm and continue into
the late evening. This presents the problem of offering good, healthy
food that will be well received while it helps DH on his quest. Menu
planning is not my forte but it will be necessary for this event to run
smoothly. Here's what I'm contemplating: afternoon snacks will be
crudite with roasted onion dip and a low-fat yogurt herb dip, chicken
dippers made with boneless skinless chicken that is grilled, served with
barbeque sauce and honey (I'll serve these on skewers for easy dipping),
fruit and cheese tray with herbed crackers and fruit in finger food
sizes; dinner will consist of salad, main dish with vegetables, bread,
and desert. I think a simple tossed salad with a couple of dressing
options will be fine. There are two choices for the main dish: a
variety of chinese food that would likely go over quite nicely and would
eliminate the bread OR salmon steaks with twice cooked potatoes or
possibly steamed and steamed asparagus OR roasted pork tenderloins
served with peach cutney, roasted potatoes, and broccoli. Bread for the
second choice would be either sourdough or herbed and for the third
sourdough. At the moment, I'm leaning towards the salmon steaks.
Dessert is still up in the air depending on what the main course ends up
being. Alcohol will be served at this event in the form of wine, beer,
and mixed drinks. This shouldn't be a huge problem for DH as he isn't a
beer drinker anyway although he will eat foods cooked in beer. Suggestions?
