Default Wilton Armetale

I have owned for many a year a soup toureen and serving platter as shown in
the below links.

After buying them, I never had a clue as to what I could cook in the soup
toureen or how to go about cooking any recipe in the soup toureen. I used
it for "serving only" soups a few times at the table, but decided that was
silly because I had bought it as a cooking utensil. Then I decided that I
was concerned about health considerations in cooking with aluminum.

I still have the information about it. "They may be used in the oven as
well as on the table for eating and drinking" they are sand cast in
Non-toxic ARMETALE metal. No two pieces are alike. ARMETALE metal is a
fusion in precise proportions of ten different metals.

Wondering if anyone has actually used this tureen to cook anything 'in.'
Thanks so much,
Dee Dee
