I usually cook enough for supper and lunch the following day. But Tonight I
dragged my sorry tired butt home cooked up some left overs and unwound. So I had to make something for lunch tomorrow...I raided the large chest freezer downstairs and came up with a smallish container of Jill's butternut squash soup and 2 frozen chicken leg/thigh dealies...I defrosted the chicken while reading the papper...I then sprinkled toasted minced dried onion and aleppo pepper over the leg & thigh pieces and baked them for approx 25 minutes in the convection oven at 350F while watching Dr. House...They sure look nice...Soup and cold baked chicken should make an excellent lunch tomorrow. -- The eyes are the mirrors.... But the ears...Ah the ears. The ears keep the hat up. |
