Well, I wonder if that'd help retard bacterial growth?

No, all it does is fix the color. That's the problem; you can tell by
looking how old the meat is and how well it's been kept refrigerated.

Personally, I always use the "sniff" test... :-)

I've had too many problems buying bad pork lately, I've had to go back
to doing that on a regular basis.

I do too. I hate it when you pull meat from the package and it is slippery.
I haven't had that problem since I have been buying all my meat at Costco.
I've been doctoring computer 'slows' today. I have no idea what did the
trick, but it seems to be up to speed again. All my software is always up
to date, I run spyware, adware and virus defense daily, didn't need a
defrag -- maybe I just need to shove a hamburger in the box in case the
little engineer is hungry? I ran the Dell support analysis as well as the
beta MS analysis and some where along the line (although neither found
problems) everything started working smoothly again. Before that the darn
thing was slow and jerky. I'm thinking I'll take it to CompUSA tomorrow to
have the inside dusted as I am leery of doing this myself. Any thoughts on
this?

Carbon monoxide is also used on raw fish (quite offten the expensive
sushi grades) to give it that nice red color.

And since we are speaking of adultering meat I saw the process they use
to make the packaged wally meat. Its a classic vacuum impregnating
technique. The meat is placed in a rotating drum that is also a vacuum
chamber. What seems to be a large quantity of water and preservatives
are added. A partial vacuum is pulled and then the drum is slowly spun.
The vacuum is then released thus causing the meat to pull in the
preservatives and water.

All you need to do it pop the box. It really isn't the least bit hard
and all you'll likely need is a screwdriver. Then get some Dust-off
and a small vac and have at it. Take a look at the box and see how it
goes together. Your Dell manual or an online "how to add memory" or
something similar will show you how to tale the case off your model.
It would be hard to screw up. Just be careful in which direction you
blow the dust. Once you see how the box goes together it will be a
breeze.

That is not why your system slowed, though. Why it did, I cannot say,
though some of your diagnostics may have emptied a cache or two along
the way or gotten rid of some temp files.

Hi Boron,
I read all the take apart instructions earlier today. It seems fairly
straightforward. Maybe I'll give it a shot and save myself a trip and $20
plus a day without the computer. I've got the Dust Off ready and then
chickened out. { Thanks for the encouragement.

I'm afraid so. What do you do? Put water and seeds on that little tray
called a DVD drive?
