After nearly 20 yrs good service my current New World Image 1000
cooker is showing its age and I'm going to invest in a new cooker. In order of importance to me are - I do plenty of stir-frying and other hob-based high-heat cooking so I was looking for a wok burner with a good output as one of my main criteria and the Britannia 100cm range with its twin 4.3Kw burners seems to fit the bill. An oven with an accurate and stable temperature is also important so any views there would be helpful, or are all 'modern' ovens good in this respect? Relative ease of cleaning (just wishful thinking....) As above, the Britannia (about £2k) caught my eye, so if any of you kind folks have any thoughts they'd care to share it would be much appreciated. Thanks Pete |
