For the past few visits to Trader Joe's - I have not been able to find their
cioppino sauce - which I used to buy on occassion. It was delicious and made for an easy, good tasting meal. Yesterday I found a cioppino in their frozen section - frozen seafood and a packet of sauce ... hmmm - it made for a pretty good meal (I served it over orzo) .... stil wish for their cioppino sauce, tho' Teri |

Hadn't noticed they no longer carry the sauce separately. In a jar, right? Seems TJ is losing a lot of good longtime products, lately. Their killer 4yr old cheddar and Boodles Gin are two more MIA's. nb |

Sometimes it was displayed over the frozen food case and sometimes on the shelf with marinara sauce. Be sure to look both places. Before that, it was a "seasonal" item. I used to buy at least 12 jars when it was in stock. Perhaps that is what you are experiencing. Too bad, as it is a very versatile item to have in the pantry. Jillie Roseville, CA |
