Since I tore my right index finger in half, I can't handle a knife. Not
being a great knife foood prep person in the first place, I can hold the knife handle in my lasst three fingers and stab the onion, celery, tomato, or other unfortunate veggie. and totally ruin the cutting board. I'm having an even worse time with food prepping with my left hand, not to mention my right index finger, hell, the whole right hand is in jeapordy again. Thank cuisinart for food processors. I don't eat well either with a knife, so most of my meals go between two slices of bread, or it's soup or finger food (excuse the pun). But worst of all, I can't play the piano!!! Andy Who never learned to play the piano. <guffaw> |

I don't remember reading about it. I can testify that I remember fingers and accidents because I've cut my nails more than once and have breathed a sigh of relief that it was just a fingernail and *not* skin... for instance, I remember when notbob cut off his fingertip. -- Practice safe eating. LOL Flatfinger. I did mine on one of those cheap Japanese slicers. Luckily I had it set to slice thin enough that I just flattened the top of my finger. It was enough to alter the contour of my finger but not enough to draw blood. |
