Peppermint Pie Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 24 lg Marshmallows 3/4 c Milk 1 tb Corn starch 1/4 c Milk 1/2 pt Whipping cream -- whipped 4 dr Peppermint flavoring 1 Green food coloring 2 oz Semi-sweet chocolate -- shaved 1. Prepare and cool Chocolate Pie Crust. 2. Melt marshmallows together with 3/4 cup milk. 3. Mix corn starch with 1/4 cup milk. 4. Combine marshmallow and corn starch mixtures in saucepan. Cook until thick. Cool, stirring occasionally. 5. After cooled, fold in whipped cream. Add food coloring and flavoring. Pour into cooled crust 6. Trim top with shaved chocolate and refrigerate overnight. Note: Double the recipe for a 9x13-inch pan..
