Default Mini Bulk Cooking Session & update

I'm getting ready for this year's growing season. That means I'm doing
a lot of freezer and pantry cooking.

This session: 8 grilled chicken breasts, creamed chicken with rice, 1
chicken & tomato casserole, hamburg stew ~ 15 qt, cheesy cauliflower
soup ~ 10 qt, 1 sheppard's pie, 2 large meatloaves - one for freezing,
one for dinner & sandwiches.

PS. I got my new camera so am learning all the advanced features. It's 5
MP so I'm really enjoying it. The garden beds are all prepared for
planting and most of the planning is finished using the sfg method and
companion planting. Greenhouse is going full tilt. I've planted
several flats along with the large 2' diameter gh containers. I still
have a few flats and large to smaller pots to plant. I'll be putting in
peas and onions tomorrow.

Mark, no meds involved and definitely not insane, just really ticked off
and it esculated egged on by others <shrug>.

ObFood: I've been experimenting with adding fresh grated nutmeg to
cream sauces and cream based soups. It really makes a huge difference!
It's one of those things where you say boy does that taste good but
can't really pinpoint the flavour.

And I appreciate her warning about the new camera.....now I know what
to kill file and not have to watch day by day pics of wet dirt.

Sorry honey, the camera comment was not meant as a warning. I learned
my lesson to not post anything online with respect to pics so won't be
doing that again. Well, I do run a yahoo cooking group that has several
pics on it and my personal website has pics too but as far as
newsgoups, you are more than safe. Besides, editing and uploading to
tinypics is a pain especially timewise so the whole concept of posting
pics here has quickly become a bore.

I know yuo're kidding, but this makes me remember my mother cooking
grouse when I was a kid and we lived in England. I remember something
about the feet being lucky, too, and I remember stinky grouse feet
begin chewed on by the dog. Vague memories, but definitely triggered a
flood!
