A couple of weeks ago I bought some smoked salmon, and we had it for lunch
with some scrambled eggs. Yum! However, I think the salmon was not completely fresh, because when I had laid it out on the plates I remember catching some odd whiffs from the area where the plates were. Anyway, I put the plates in the dishwasher ... and by the time the washing cycle had finished, the rest of the stuff in the dishwasher had the same odd whiffs coming from it. Not pleasant! I put everything whiffy back in, but another cycle did not cure the problem. So I dashed out to the supermarket, bought two "deodorisers" and two "fresheners" and stuck that in the dishwasher, and ran everything through again. Bingo! (Well, at least if bingo smells strongly of lemon.) Has anyone else experienced this? |
