It might be this:
http://www.nestleghana.com/html/brands/Milo/about.htm

It sounds similar to what is sold as Ovomaltine here (Netherlands, also
Germany).

Thanks - and thanks for no lectures on Googling it myslef!

It looks like our (US') Ovaltine.

Not the world's most exciting recipe, I'd say, but maybe you could boil
it down and make a cocoa dulce de leche....?

The recipe may not be exciting (technique wise), but may very well taste
good. However, I think I'd go straight for the coca powder instead.

I like when you boil down condensend milk to carmelize it, but that
takes a long time of simmering. A few minutes in the microwave and it
would still be pretty liquidy, I would think. I'd like it better if you
added the chocolate flvoring, then thickened it up. It can thicken up
so you can eat it with a spoon; I'd like that better as far as both
flavor and texture, i think.

Come to think of it, coca (rather than cacao) might give it a nice kick!

That sounds VERY filling! To me, if I would want to drink condensed milk, I
think it owuld be more than thick enough as it is. But then there is
something to be said for the caramelly flavor of dulce de leche, too.

The condensed milk remionds me of Vietnamese coffee. So now I am thinking
the various drinks discussed here would also be great served cold with ice
cubes.
