Default Brander Azuma BBQ - Anyone know anything about it?

As the subject says - anyone heard of this brand? Googling for the
brand doesn't return anything useful, so I'm wondering if the BBQ is a
rebranded version of something else....

Here's a link a description page for the BBQ:

http://www.barbecuesgalore.ca/BBQ/azuma.html

I'm waffling between this BBQ, and the Weber Platinum D4. The Brander
looks like more BBQ for less money (about $500 less than the D4, $600
is you take into account that the cover is not included with the D4),
but I'm concerned about the quality.

You cannot beat Weber for quality. Remember, you get what you pay
for.

How thick is all that stainless steel? Will they be around when you
need parts (you *will* need parts)?

Will they stand behind their warantee? Weber will.

BOB
does not presently own any Weber products except my Weber Smokey Joe
and does not believe on cooking on any gas grills

The Azuma[the strange name almost makes you run the other way], is probably
designed by some unknown person and is manufactured in China. For that price
it would have to be. It's impossible to know "how it works". The Weber is
well established, and will work pretty much as the specs. say.
The BIG concern I would have about both, is that neither will sear and grill
a steak the way a charcoal grill will.
That this is a BBQ Galore product probably means something. If nothing else,
they will stand behind it if something goes awry.
Good Luck,
Kent
