Oh fer cryin' out loud. No need to go overboard, just cook them with some
bacon or diced ham and a good shake of black pepper. Oh, and use dried
beans, not canned ones.

I wouldn't add tomatoes, ketchup or brown sugar to lima beans, but that's
just me.

This almost sounds like something they'd be making on 'Texas Ranch House'
LOL I am seriously disappointed in that PBS show. I'd be seriously
disappointed in beans, lima or otherwise, too.
