Default millet

I have been diagnosed as having intolerance to millet, but I can't find
out how I might actually be eating it.

Can anybody tell me what processed foodstuffs or restaurant dishes
contain millet?

I'd start by looking at bread ingredients. Do you eat any multi-grain kinds?
And, think of anything else you eat that reminds you of twigs, like granola
bars and multigrain cereals.

I feed it to my bird I've never used it in cooking.

Default millet

There are many types of millet used in Indian cooking, Pearl millet and
Finger Millet being most common. In United States, Millet is used as a
flour replacement for celiacs Diabetese Type I. Many of the whole grain
breads now also include millet as one of the grains. And yes! millet is
one of the ingredients in making most of the hotdogs as a cheap filler.
Sorry! I can think of only two items in Amercan Cuisine, whole grain
breads, and hot dogs.

Hot dogs eh! If it's in them then it could be used for almost anything.


I'm in UK. I don't eat many hot dogs but I do like to go out for a
curry on a Friday night (now voted the nation's favourite food).

I've also asked my supermarket it they put millet in their bread.

For cooking Millet has two advantages:
1. There is no glutten
2. While, grain flour is acidic, Millet is slightly alkaine.
Of course glutten free cooking wil use Millet flour. For a filler,
Millet is used as a binder/thickener with minimum leavening, ergo Hot
dogs.
Yes! on my website, I state the best Indian restaurants are located in
UK in the entire world including India. Many of the newly popular
Indian dishes like Tikka Masala, Peanut Masala are a creation of Indian
restaurants in UK, and not India. I agree.
