The bad news: Oven broken...part is on order...won't be fixed for at
least another week or two. I don't do all that much of my cooking in
the oven, but it's a distinct PITA to have it out of commission for
that long.

The good news: I scored a couple of great looking racks of fresh pork
ribs on sale at the local market early this morning on the way home
from a garden club plant sale...the weather is fabulous & the ribs are
dry rubbed and ready for the barbeque. DH will bake a couple of russets
on the grill with the ribs & I'll toss together a big salad - we'll be
good to go. Now I just have to finish planting those 18 one gallon
lavender plants I snagged at the sale...now, those were a real bargain.
