I have just started harvesting quinces for the year. The first dish was
quinces simply stewed with sugar and water. Intense flavour, mouth-watering smell and great pink colour. I can't wait for the tree to get bigger so I have more fruit. The medlars will be ready in a few weeks. This year I am trying to cook them instead of eating as a fruit , I will report any success. David |
