There are several in this area (Santa Cruz county), but my market of
choice is the one held downtown on Wednesday afternoons. It's a
bustling scene with lots of local color, a groovy vibe, and wonderful
vendors/produce/comestibles. Plus, it's open year-round, rain or shine.

Patchouli oil, piercings, white-haired retirees, restaurant chefs, and
if all goes well, Umbrella Guy.
