I agree with that plan. Years ago we used to pack food to try and
minimize time. Then you get there sooner but are totally burnt out from
continuous driving. Stopping for at least one decent meal which also
gives a break from driving makes a big difference.

Keep in mind he keeps strict kosher, he's probably not going
to eat at places along the way.

I also noted that he ask to ask what kind of food he should take, as if someone
here is going to know more than he does about what he and his family like.
Maybe we should have just recommended some amphetamines and do away with the
need to stop for anything but gas.
