I used to keep my shot glasses in the freezer for things like that.

You can make your own flavored vodkas. Although I don't drink all that much
anymore, I always liked infusing vodka with a mixture of cracked black
peppercorns, Szechuan peppercorns, tangerine peel, and those tiny fiery-hot
dried chiles.

Great as colder-than-ice shots.

LOL
Near me, there's a couple of stores that can't sell alcohol after
11:00 PM or on Sunday. Go to the store across the street, and you can
buy any time.

Lucky you! here in Colorado, grocery stores can only sell 3% beer and
`wine' coolers; for everything else, it's the liquor store.

Steffi, Is that you? Since when can you post? How nice to see you

In New York, until about a year ago liquor stores had to be closed on
Sundays. Then a law was passed, permitting them to be open starting
at noon. Soon they may be allowed to open before noon, but I do not
believe this has passed yet.

Groceries are allowed to sell cooking wines, but very few do so.
Display space is much too precious to waste it on bad wine. Beer is
available abundantly.
