Is there a middle ground between faux Balsamic and super-expensive Balsamic?

Tom--
I think the basalmic in the square-shaped bottle, at Trader Joe's is
quite good.
Enjoy,

We've been buying the Elsa brand. About $12 for an 8.5 ounce bottle. I
don't know if it's faux or truex. The label says "aged balsamic vinegar
of Modena". Not as syrupy or intense as the super-expensive-very-old
stuff, but tasty enough for most purposes.

Did you read all the responses you got when you posted this
same message last week? Just curious.

I owe you a major apology. My own message was blocked by my spam filter. I
never saw it because of the $$$ in the subject, which is in a lot of usenet
spams.

I just realized what happened. I am really sorry.

And thank you to all who responded. I can see them now.

Oh, that's so funny, I was wondering what was going on.
Glad you got your answers. There's another thread titled
balsamic vinegar that ran during this same time period, you
might find some answers there, too.
