better to eat almonds!

From the article:
---
A 1-ounce serving of almonds -- a scant one-quarter cup -- provides as
much disease-fighting power as a serving of broccoli or a cup of brewed
green or black tea, the research found.
---

What's the difference in calories? Green tea has zero, so one way to look
at it is that the difference is infinite.

Sliced almonds are so handy. I sprinkle them on cereal or
granola, or on vegetables. Love that crunch.

how about....a stir-fry of broccoli and almonds (and scallions and
ginger and garlic) with a green-tea/mirin glaze, sprinkled with black
sesame seeds.

I hope they still had their skins on...

"Researchers say the almond's brown skin contains much of the
beneficial catechin, epicatechin and kaempferol -- three powerful
flavonoids, or antioxidant compounds, that protect cells from damage
and inflammation, and ultimately cancer, heart disease and stroke."

I see a new health fad coming.... powedered almond skins, maybe they
will be in pill form.
