I used to enjoy the standard Kraft Extra Sharp Cheddar blocks for
general purpose cheddar needs but lately notice the texture is softer
than it used to be. Not sure why? It isn't soft by any stretch, not like
Velveeta is, but softer than it used to be to the point where it bends a
bit when the block is pushed against the grater.
I've started buying Cracker Barrel blocks.
