If it was bought fresh out of the wrapper, it should be good until it either smells funny or feels slimy or changes color. If you've had it for a while and it smells and looks OK, make sure you cook it very well-done. I've used some out of the freezer that was over 2 years old. It had lost quality at that point, but was fine in soup. gloria p |
