Default Coming this Saturday on Semi-Homade: Racetrack Tailgate

http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/show..._44197,00.html

Racetrack Tailgate

Sandra heads to the race track, to grill a perfect
meal?fast! First up, she’s taking it to the grill,
for mouth-watering Black Pepper-Crusted Mini- Burgers
with Mustard Sauce that’s served as an appetizer.
Then she's turning this tailgate into a fancy spread
with her Carpetbagger Steaks, made with savory red
wine, mushrooms and blue cheese. On the side, a great
finger food for the grill, Bacon-Wrapped Cheese Corn.
For dessert, it’s a Racin' Raspberry Shortcake that
looks decadent, but is simple enough to make outside.
Then it’s cocktail time with a driver-friendly Cruisin’
Cocktail.

"To grill a perfect meal?fast!"? Are a pack a pack of drunk monkies in'charge
of editing there?

Only SLop would call a 1/4 pound of meat patty burger "mini" and "appetizer"
and call a cocktail containing vodka "driver-friendly".

Speaking of which, isn't mixing gatoraide and booze dangerous?

Naturally, her "shortcakes" are nothing but the same ol' incognito Cool Whip
sandwhiches, except this time she's swapped out the whack-a-dough biscuits
for shortbread cookies.

Corn on the cob coated with mayo and the cheese packet from Kraft Dinner, then
wrapped with bacon? I'm not going there!

I wonder if Will Farell will make a cameo appearance hyping his lame upcoming
NASCAR movie?

The corn on the cob really looked disgusting; the whole program was
planned around pre-packaged seasoning packets, I think - herbal
seasoning here, herbal seasoning there.

The cocktails were for the tailgaters, not the drivers.

I didn't quite get the "mini" burgers - they were huge. Or why she had
those as an appetizer when her entree was stuffed rib-eye or
tenderloin....the woman doesn't have a brain.

Hey, nothing spuces up corn like hot mayonaisse and bacon!

The burger itself was mini. A tiny tiny piece of meat, it's size almost
doubled with pepper, in a giant amount of filling, in a presentation
that can't possibly be eaten. And would taste awful.

And that is why we watch.
