Eat as if your life depended upon it!
Chew foods well to begin the process of digestion. Leave stomach 20% empty for digestion, discover benefits of calorie restriction. Combine foods wisely for proper assimilation. Consume 8-10 glasses of quality water daily but not with meals. Diet should be 75-80% Alkaline ash-forming foods and 20-25% Acid ash-forming foods. This is very important. Consume organically grown when possible and avoid chemically laden and overly processed foods. Consume enzymatically alive foods, various colors, as well as phytochemicals and antioxidants. Eat 5 servings of vegetables and 3 servings of fruit daily. Reinoculate the colon with dairy-free probiotic cultures and special fermented foods such as raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar and raw, unsalted cultured vegetables. Keep the colon clean. Consider a balanced program of vitamins, minerals and antioxidant supplements. Take time to breathe deeply and reduce stress naturally. Meditate to calm your bodies and minds, think good thoughts, do right actions and smile. Sleep sufficiently for your needs (100% cotton sheets, etc.). Expose your skin and eyes to sunlight at appropriate times, avoid burns, never look at the sun directly. Exercise daily. Use natural clothing, cosmetics and hygiene products. Dry brush skin before you shower. It is recommended to use Homeopathic Medicines, garlic, and herbs for health conditions. Try not to allow mercury amalgam fillings (implants) in your teeth (have them removed with caution). Use a high quality green super food daily such as Active Greens, a true super food that will give you energy and mental acuity. Supplement with a balanced, high quality product such as the Vitamin Complex and Ionic Minerals. Avoid Excess proteins, alcohol, sugars, salt, overly processed foods, tobacco, carbonated beverages, margarine, coffee, artificial colors, preservatives, refined foods, hydrogenated oils, etc. Keep your body cleansed daily to remove toxins and other factors by using gentle everyday detox products like the Internal Detox. Health Tips for Eating Limit meat to once or twice a week. Have fish at least twice a week. Have a vegetarian or vegan night at least twice a week, not relying heavily on cheese. Have poultry or game once or twice a week. Remember that full-fat hard blue and creamy cheeses are high in saturated fat and calories and best used sparingly. Remember that pastry is high in fat, mainly saturated fat, and calories; keep it for occasional use only. Phyllo is better than other pastries, because you can add your own amount of fat. Only use as much fat as necessary when cooking. Check out how many portions of fruit and vegetables you've had during the day, and use your evening meal to make up the total to at least five portions. If you enjoy wine, add a glass to an occasional meal. If your main meal is large, instead of having a dessert, have a snack during the day or a late-night smoothie so you don't have too many calories all at one time. Am I > wrong? It looks to me like the sort of thing that might have been written one or two hundred years ago. Or yesterday. Ignorant and useless, either way. Of course some of the "hints" seem to make sense, but so what? Where's the research, what ties it all together coherently? What if I think "don't look directly at the sun" and "exercise daily" are good advice but "use natural clothing, cosmetics and hygiene products" is stupid? Useless. Or worse than useless, if the "hint" to use homeopathic remedies means to avoid conventional medical treatment..... -aem |
