Default Plymouth --- Lousy cars, good gin

I never liked the Plymouth automobile (starting with my uncle's 1950.)

Last week I was in the liquor store and saw Plymouth Gin. Always on the
lookout for a good gin I tried a bottle. Nice stuff, very smooth. Liter
bottle was $22.49 here, about two bucks less than Sapphire.

You never got a good one. My dad had a 50s Plymouth, too. Butt ugly,
but reliable. I had a couple pre-74's that were stone axe reliable.
Great cars.

Yes, very smooth. So smooth, you can almost *NOT* taste it. I figure
if you want good gin, it should at least taste like gin. Try Boodles.

I have, but hardly see it around here. Same with Hendricks, one of my
favorites. One of the best selections is as the New Hampshire state run
liquor stores.

I wonder how much that is in GBP - I either buy Plymouth or Sapphire - both
about £15 per litre. Just the sort of weather to have a G&T plus lime and
plenty of ice - of course

I owned a 1983 Plymouth Horizon. A plain hatchback. Drove it for 10
years, amassing 35,000 miles. I wasn't too pleased to learn body by
Plymouth, engine by Mitsubishi (the company that built the Zero airplane
that bombed Pearl Harbor).

Don't much like gin either.

Anything made by Chrysler after '76 was pretty much crap. The
Mitsubishi engine was probably the best thing about it.

As for the gin, there still time. Took me 40 yrs to acquire a taste
for it.

Plymouth gin is a specific style, light on the juniper,as opposed to
London Dry. If you like the whang of juniper Plymouth won't work. But
it sure is smooth. Don't know if there are any other Plymouth-style
gins; it may be unique.
